Community Youth Connection
As part of Global Youth Day, the Capital City Satellites Pathfinder Club is partnering with the Albany Public Library to host two Community Youth Connection events designed to serve and engage local children and youth.

At the Washington Ave Branch (161 Washington Ave, Albany, NY 12210) in the Large Meeting Room, children ages 3–9 are invited to a fun and interactive safety experience. Activities include learning “Stop. Look. Listen.” safety tips, meeting a local safety officer, completing a safety coloring sheet, participating in team-building activities, and receiving a free snack to-go. Parents are encouraged to stay and participate.

At the Howe Branch (105 Schuyler Street, Albany, NY 12202) in the Large Meeting Room, youth ages 10–16 will get a glimpse of the Pathfinder Club through engaging activities such as a welcome icebreaker, a drill and marching demonstration, team-building challenges, a resin keychain craft, and a bento snack box.

Both events are free and open to the community and are part of a worldwide initiative where young people serve their communities through acts of kindness, leadership, and connection.
